About Making Monsters A political undercurrent exists that resembles cyberpunk. Sci-fi elements remain near future and fuse with horror fiction. Some tales have what may appear to be shock tactics, but these passages also build the story as a whole. The stories vary in length from short-short to tales at long story or short novella length. The book would be about 520 pages in regular paperback.

 Halloween in a nutshell

"Walking Dead Man's Blog & Halloween Tales" by Gary Morton is a collection of stories … The stories range in length. Some stories can be read in one sitting, others require a chapter at a time. What makes this book so much fun is the varying perspectives of the stories. Some written by a neutral observer, others, especially the zombie blog, from the perspective of the unfortunate undead. I really enjoyed the book since it offered my favorite characters in one book and the stories are bizarre and not the run of the mill horror stories.

Gary Morton's talent as a writer shines in this collection … He supplies the reader with well-written lyrical prose and vivid imagery. Each tale makes for a macabre read ... I marveled at his ability to write so many different vignettes about vampires. It's a tribute to his creative genius … With graphic violence, blood and gore; it's not for the squeamish but for those who love a world filled with vampires, zombies, cannibals, and other creatures that haunt the night.

Gary Morton has put together a great collection of short stories in "Fabulous Furry World". The book is written in the horror / sci-fi genre with a lot of comedy mixed in. I love the fact that the stories are short enough to read when you have extra time … the stories are so good I found it hard to put the book down.

Great addition to the supernatural genre.

"DemonSeer" by Gary Morton grabs the reader from the first chapter and doesn't let go ... with a cast of New Age characters, you get a sampling of the supernatural on both spiritual and not-so-grounded levels. An interesting read from start to finish ... prepare for a story with mystical flair ... and you might want to leave the light on.

   Horror fiction on speed
Vampire horror, a blend of the modern and classic, moving through 28 frightening chapters. It's a book for lovers of horror and the supernatural. Especially those readers who enjoy writers that write supernatural and action work with style.
Not for vampire romance fans and the book includes one fairly x-rated scene.
